Areas of application

Most of our products are available with Class approval from several of the largest societies. This means that our flooring can be used on virtually the entire ship with approval.

Extremely tough grating

StrongLites Phenolic Grating is approved by the US Coast Guard. They are designed and developed to achieve extreme fire resistance and low flame spread. Our phenolic panels can also be coated with a conductive surface for electrostatic discharge.
Our Phenolic Grouting is approved by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) and is approved in both Level 2 and Level 3. These tests require the product to be exposed to 927°C (1700°F) for one hour according to ASTM E-119.

In addition to the product having excellent fire protection properties, like our other products, it has a number of properties that make it the obvious choice when replacing old grating or installing new ones.
